The Little Platoon

The Little Platoon

“The little platoon” is a phrase coined by Edmund Burke, a British political philosopher of the 18th century. Counter to the prevailing idea that the authentic individual is what matters, Burke believed that human flourishing was found in the relationships and associations of which we are part, none more important than the family. In this two-week series, we look at what Ephesians 5 and 6 have to say about marriage and raising children. We find that raising children is an incredible blessing and responsibility, and that marriage reflects the eternal reality of Christ and His bride, the church.
